The core team
Most staffed villas include daily housekeeping and often a private chef — the two roles that transform the day-to-day. Larger estates add more:
- Butler or house manager — runs the household and looks after guests.
- Concierge — arranges transfers, excursions, restaurant bookings, and special occasions before and during your stay.
- Gate and security — standard in the gated communities, giving families real peace of mind.
- Pool and garden maintenance — usually handled quietly in the background.
The chef, in detail

What is usually on request
Beyond the core team, extras like a dedicated driver, a nanny or babysitter, a bartender or waiter for an event, spa treatments, and grocery pre-stocking are typically arranged in advance for an added cost. Tipping is customary for good service, at your discretion.
