— Cap Cana is a gated 30,000-acre community with controlled entry and its own marina, beaches and golf. Villa Espada sits on the golf side of it: the trade is a shorter run to the tee and a short drive to the sand. Eden Roc Beach Club and Juanillo Beach are around eight minutes away, Cap Cana Marina roughly twelve, and Scape Park about seven. Punta Cana International (PUJ) is twenty minutes by private transfer, included in the rate. The St. Regis Cap Cana is close enough to walk to.
Villa Espada in Cap Cana
Villa Espada sits directly on the fifth fairway at Punta Espada, inside the gated Cap Cana community at the eastern end of the Dominican Republic. It is a 15,000 sq ft estate arranged as eight ensuite bedrooms across a main house and a separate guest wing, and it rents with a full household team already in place: chef, butler, two maids and a driver. Access to Eden Roc Beach Club is included with the rental, and two six-person golf carts come with the villa, which is what makes the fairway position count. The first tee is a four-minute cart ride rather than a car journey.

Open, layered interiors
The estate runs to more than 15,000 square feet, with a vaulted great room at its centre and a professional kitchen behind it built for a chef cooking for a full house. All eight bedrooms are ensuite and carry smart TVs. An indoor game room handles the wet afternoons, and there is a spa room on site with two massage beds for treatments arranged through the butler. The household team of five is included in every rate and works in English and Spanish.
Designed for the day outside
There are two pools: one at ground level off the main terrace, and a rooftop infinity pool set above the fairway. A sixteen-person hot tub sits alongside. The grounds hold a private putting green, a basketball hoop, and an outdoor games area with ping pong, a pool table, cornhole, giant chess and lawn darts, plus two hammocks for the quieter half of the group. Covered outdoor dining and lounge terraces run off the main house.

The main house holds the master suite with a king, a room below it with two twin XL beds that convert to a king, and two streetside rooms — one per floor — each with two queens and a full Murphy bed. The four guest-wing rooms each carry two twin XL beds that convert to a king, plus a twin XL Murphy bed. Those convertible beds are what let the villa work for two very different trips: sixteen guests sleep one couple to a room, while a single-occupancy group spreads to twenty-one across the same eight rooms.
